At the GAMM Juniors Autumn Meeting, which took place from September 4 to 6, 2024 in Essen, Mischa Blaszczyk received the "Award for special commitment within the GAMM Juniors 2024".

This award was created by the speaker team this year and is therefore being given out for the first time. In the certificate, the speaker team acknowledges Mr. Blaszczyk's extraordinary commitment to his "activities that mostly take place in the background." This particularly applies to his work as administrator of the GAMM Juniors website, the mailing lists and the cloud file systems used. Mr. Blaszczyk was also involved in the "Pre-GAMM" and "Science Communication" projects. We warmly congratulate him.
